Home Health Aide

In search of hands-on care for a single elderly patient in their home. This is a stroke patient who is partially paralyzed on left side. Assistance with bathing and bathroom needs (Foley catheter), transferring in and out of wheelchair using a gait belt, meal preparation, and light housekeeping are required. Duties also include providing companionship and social interaction, so a friendly disposition is a must. Caregiver must be a non-smoker. Preferences for CPR / first-aid trained applicants. CNA experience a plus. Shifts are 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Every other Wednesday, Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday. This is a payroll, W-2 position paid weekly via direct deposit.
