Food and Beverage Manager

Job description: Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to be the face of our Food and Beverage operation by overseeing the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service management, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, training and quality assurance, and some admin duties. ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily operations of the outlet, ensuring high standards of food quality and customer service. Manage staff training and development, including interviewing, onboarding, and performance evaluations. Oversee liquor inventory control and ordering processes to maintain adequate stock levels while minimizing waste. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in all areas of the outlets for front of house. Utilize POS systems and maintain standards for system utilization. Implement effective budgeting and scheduling strategies to optimize operational costs while enhancing service quality. Foster a collaborative team environment through effective leadership and team management practices based on mutual accountability, trust and partnership. Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction and loyalty. Coordinate with kitchen management to ensure timely food production and service during peak hours. Strong understanding of overall hotel operations QualificationsProven experience in restaurant management, Food and Beverage experience in the hotel industry required, multi-outlet locations preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary experience, and fine dining standards preferred. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively and consistently. Experience in training & development, including staff training on food handling and safety protocols, service standards and upselling. Strong organizational skills with experience in managing diverse teams. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences for guests, and knowledge of training others in the skill. Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel settings. Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends as required by outlet operations.
