Project Manager - Land Development

Soltesz is currently looking for a key manager to help us continue to provide outstanding service to our clients. The Project Manager position located in our Rockville, MD office is responsible for providing direct supervision and mentoring of design staff, including team engineers and designers. This position will also be responsible for providing mentoring, client contact, as well as handling project financials, profitability and client satisfaction. Essential job functions include:Client management, project managementLeadership and mentoring of staffStaff supervision, quality control, workload and staff planningDevelopment of proposalsMaintenance of project schedules, budgets, and invoicingOversee employee performance, providing regular feedback and recognitionWork together with senior leadership team to accomplish company goalsProvide excellent and responsive client serviceBusiness developmentQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Civil EngineeringProfessional Engineer (PE) registration in Maryland required. 10+ years’ progressive experience in civil engineering land development design, preferably in Montgomery County, Maryland.5+ years’ experience managing staff, technical skills to develop and review plans and work with engineers, planners and surveyors.Excellent organizational and delegation skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSOLTESZ is a successful land development engineering firm in the Washington DC metro area specializing in the areas of civil engineering, landscape architecture, planning, environmental science and surveying. We work with both private and public clients on a variety of projects.
