Accountants One is being engaged by a repeat client to help them hire a Senior Accountant. This is a $60M+, private-equity-backed global engineering, manufacturing/fabrication, and supply chain management business. They have plans to grow both organically and through acquisition. One of the best parts of this role is the ability to work under a CFO and Controller with incredible experience and knowledge to share.Job OverviewManage general ledger activity and ensure timely, accurate posting of journal entriesAssist with the month-end close activities, including account reconciliations and preparation of consolidated financial statementsPrepare monthly collateral reporting as required by the lenderPrepare and file sales and property tax returns and other compliance reportsPerform financial and trend analysesCosting and Inventory AccountingSupport Controller-led 3rd party audits (senior lender, insurance, 3rd party CPA firm)Support the annual physical inventory processProvide ad hoc reports and analysis as requestedAdditional responsibilities as neededJob Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting4 or more years as a proven accountant in a manufacturing and/or distribution environmentCPA or CMA beneficial (active or inactive)Experience with multiple domestic and international business units or entities and consolidated financial reportingExperience in implementing, streamlining, and automating accounting and financial reporting processes is highly preferredStrong Excel experience18489
