Audit Analyst

JCW Group has partnered with a leading global capital markets firm seeking a Audit Analyst responsible for performing and documenting audit test steps across critical business areas, assessing control design and operating effectiveness, and supporting audit planning. The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of internal audit experience within the banking or financial services industry. This is a hybrid-based role located in Manhattan, NY. Responsibilities: Perform and document assigned audit test steps, form conclusions, and record work in the audit database. Independently assess control design and operating effectiveness during audits. Participate in audit planning and lead fewer complex audits and projects. Communicate and discuss audit findings and reports with relevant business lines. Provide recommendations to management regarding the control environment. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 1–3 years of internal audit or related experience within financial services or banking. Proficient in MS Office Suite with strong written and verbal communication skills. Developing knowledge of laws and regulations governing the banking industry.
