DevOps Engineer
DevOps EngineerWe are seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team for a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices, systems administration, and software engineering. This role requires a deep understanding of automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure management.Required Skills & QualificationsAt least 5-7 years of experience in DevOps, Systems Administration, or a similar software engineering role.Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for task in designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab.Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools for automating server provisioning and in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.Proficiency in monitoring and logging tools like Kibana or to implement security best practices and manage system reliability.Excellent communication skills for managing stakeholders at all levels.Experience in both Windows and Linux environments.Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.Preferred Skills & QualificationsCross-platform administration experience with Windows and Linux.Experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM) using SSO, OAuth, and Role-based Access Control.Knowledge of Finance Cloud Platforms by Oracle and SAP.Certification in cloud to Agile and DevSecOps practices.Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement automated CI/CD pipelines to enhance software delivery processes.Automate server provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.Monitor system health and performance, setting up alerts and dashboards as necessary.Ensure system security and reliability, managing secrets and troubleshooting outages.Company Benefits & CultureOpportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment.Exposure to the latest technologies and tools in the DevOps field.Supportive culture that encourages professional growth and development.
