Job DescriptionSr. Printer Technician Springfield, VA MUST: Experienced Printer Technician3 – 5 years of experience Printer Technician3 – 5 years of experience working with Printers & CopiersMust be able to Travel to 5 - 10 customer sites per day Provide assistance to Senior Technician in relations to all contract obligations and requirementsCertifications in any of the following: A+, Security +, Network+, ITIL, MCP, or equivalent certificationsDUTIES: Manage escalated technical desktop support incidents and provide functional support and assistance to a local and nation-wide customer base, following specific processes and guidelines to ensure that tasks are completed consistently and efficientlyReceive and respond to customer inquiries, requests, and escalations via telephone, emailTroubleshoot and resolve problems to satisfy requests.Do any necessary research and on the job training necessary to resolve incidents in a timely and efficient mannerCorrectly refer unresolved problems to high level support technicians and/or groups when the situation requiresPrepares and delivers printer suppliesProvides IT support to assist the Government with software, hardware, computer systems, and networks.Can answer typically questions from network or computer users over the phone or via the internet.Your duties include helping Government employees troubleshoot technical problemsMaintains records of materials and supplies usedOperates a variety of office equipment including a computer; downloads computer files detailing print job requirements as necessary; prepares digital image files using various software applicationsProvide technical support and training to end usersProvide Preventive Maintenance on print fleetResolve printer errors; Repair printers as needed
