Strategic Major Account Manager, Spectrum Business

As a Strategic Major Account Manager at Spectrum, you will develop tailored business plans, position Spectrum Business as a trusted advisor for voice, video and data solutions, and guide long-term account strategies. Your consultative approach and relationship-building skills will help clients achieve their objectives and advance Spectrum's reputation for excellence.How You Will Make an ImpactAchieve or exceed monthly and annual new revenue and renewal quotas through strategic account management and consultative salesConduct proactive needs analyses and execute account strategies in collaboration with the Sales ManagerMonitor assigned accounts to identify revenue growth opportunities and improve service levelsPresent tailored proposals and facilitate sales presentations to address client business challengesBroaden Spectrum Business's reach by cultivating relationships and securing contract renewals with new and existing contactsQualify new leads, coordinate site surveys and submit return on investment analyses to sales managementMaintain accurate sales databases to track client information and sales activitiesCollaborate with Sales Engineering, Sales Support and Marketing teams to enhance the client experienceAttend sales meetings and training sessions to improve sales skills and stay informed on market trendsEnsure compliance with Spectrum policies to mitigate risks and support account successWorking ConditionsOffice-based role with regular travel required to client locations within assigned footprintWhat You Will Bring to SpectrumRequired QualificationsEducationHigh school diploma or equivalent from an accredited organization (GED)Experience3+ years of sales experience exceeding revenue goalsSkillsRead, write, speak and understand EnglishDemonstrated history of consistently exceeding sales quotasStrong understanding of computer networking, LAN and WAN technologies, high-capacity and fiber-connected networksProven product and technical knowledgeEffective relationship building, networking, negotiation and closing skillsQuick learner able to apply new knowledge and partner with support resources for account growthValid driver's license, safe driving record and willingness to travel as neededPreferred QualificationsEducationBachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent combination of education, training and experienceExperience3+ years of sales experience exceeding revenue goals selling data, voice and video solutions in the telecommunications B2B industrySkillsIn-depth knowledge of CRM systems such as SalesforceProficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook#LI-SE1SCM267 2026-75080 2026Here, our employees don't just have jobs, they're building careers. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
