Travel Occupational Therapist - Inpatient

American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with acute care and inpatient rehab experience for a 13-week assignment at a hospital-based therapy department in Fort Worth, TX.Job Details• Position is based in the Occupational Therapy department on the 3rd floor of the main hospital building,• Day shift schedule: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday,• Patient caseload ratios are approximately 10-12 patients in acute care and 4-5 patients in inpatient rehab,• Department is a multidisciplinary team of approximately 50 staff, including Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech Language Pathologists,• Float coverage may include all departments throughout the hospital (acute care),• Rotation of at least one weekend day per month; schedule may follow a Tuesday-Saturday rotation,Job Requirements• Minimum 1 year of OT experience; allied candidates must have at least 6 months of experience within the last 6 months in the role,• Acute care experience required,• Inpatient rehab experience required,• Active Texas OT license required (license required if applicable),• Current BLS/CPR certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; certification must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start),• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration,• One professional reference required,• No gaps in work history totaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months,Additional Information• Primary responsibilities include conducting OT evaluations and providing regular therapy interventions,• Hunter green scrubs are required,
