Lead Counselor - Youth Services - 2:00PM to 9:30PM - Group Facilitator

Juvenile justice, adjudicated youth, youth counseling, criminal justice, youth services Hours: Full-Time, Evening Shift, 2:00PM to 9:30PM Diakon is one of the premier employers in Pennsylvania and Maryland. General Responsibilities: Responsible for directing the operation of the designated Diakon Youth Services Program and by developing, implementing and supervising the delivery of services to youth and coordinating services with other programs to assure smooth operations. Performs administrative and supervisory responsibilities as required Assists in planning and actively participates in weekly scheduled events and activities and provides direct services as necessary Assists in establishing and maintaining professional and supportive relationships with youth, families, referring personnel, treatment providers, and others involved in the lives of children and youth Childline and DHS FBI clearance results required prior to beginning employment Valid PA driver's license required. Education/Training: A BS or BA degree in human services or a related field of study normally required. Experience: A minimum of three (3) years’ related experience normally required. Compensation and Benefits: Diakon offers a competitive compensation and benefits package for Full-Time and Part-Time employees.
