AWS Data Engineer- Python

Job Title: AWS Data Engineer with AI skillsLocation: Charlotte, NC (3 days a Week)Only Local profiles Final round in person*Job Summary: *We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with strong experience in AWS cloud services and AI/ML technologies. The ideal candidate will design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines, manage cloud-based data platforms, and support AI-driven solutions.Key Responsibilities:* Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines.* Build and manage data lakes/data warehouses on AWS.* Work with structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.* Implement data ingestion using batch and real-time streaming frameworks.* Integrate AI/ML models into production data pipelines.* Optimize performance, reliability, and cost of AWS data solutions.* Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Engineering teams.* Ensure data quality, governance, and security compliance.Required Skills:* Strong experience in Python, SQL, PySpark* Hands-on experience with AWS services:* Experience with Apache Spark, Airflow, Kafka* Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts* Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools* Strong understanding of REST APIsAI / ML Skills:* Experience integrating ML models using SageMaker* Knowledge of NLP / Generative AI / LLM concepts* Experience with vector databases or embeddings is a plus* Familiarity with prompt engineering / AI workflows
