This professional will play a critical role in delivering superior quality care while ensuring patient and employee safety at all levels.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nAssess patients' level of functioning upon physician orders and plan appropriate treatments.\nParticipate in interdisciplinary team processes and discharge planning for each patient.\nComplete necessary documentation according to department policies and procedures.\nSupervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants as well as OT and COTA students.\nCommunicate effectively with patients and family members while maintaining patient confidentiality.\nPromote patient and employee safety, focusing on various safety initiatives.\nEvaluate each patient accurately, using appropriate evaluation procedures and methods.\nDocument training of equipment to patients and family as necessary.\nAttend team conferences and collaborate with team members for optimal patient care.\n\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n\nBLS certification required prior to the first shift.\nMust hold a valid, current State license.\nA minimum of 2 years of experience is required.\nPrevious inpatient rehab experience preferred.\n\n\nSchedule\nThis position follows a Day 5x8 schedule from Tuesday to Saturday.\n\nWhy ARMStaffing?\nAt ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
