Maintenance Manager

Job Summary:
The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the facility equipment and maintenance operations. This role requires fostering a positive work environment for staff and ensuring a remarkable experience for all guests through effective maintenance and operations. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with the team to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency in all maintenance activities.
REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or equivalent:
At least three years’ related experience in Maintenance or service repair in at a hotel with a restaurant, or a commercial kitchen.
Basic Computer job skills including a working knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel, and Word required.
DUTIES:
Create memorable experiences for colleagues and guests through exceptional maintenance services.
Oversee the quality and timeliness of all maintenance tasks, both in-house and contracted services.
Lead, coach, and train maintenance staff to maximize performance and job satisfaction.
Build and maintain relationships with vendors, partners, and the local community.
Manage the recruitment, hiring, and training processes for the maintenance team.
Ensure high employee satisfaction through effective human resource management, including training, development, performance evaluations, and compliance with legal standards.
Collaborate with department managers to maintain high service standards and address guest complaints.
Manage budgets, schedules, purchase requests, and inventory control.
Develop and maintain operations, training, and safety manuals (MSDS) for the maintenance department.
Support the General Manager in setting and achieving departmental goals.
Adhere to all safety and emergency policies, including removing safety hazards and ensuring equipment operates efficiently and safely.
Respond to repair requests in a timely and professional manner.
Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
Directly supervise the maintenance staff, including interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning tasks, and performance management.
Address employee concerns and resolve issues to ensure a productive and positive work environment.
Ability to perform each essential job duty satisfactory.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
Ability to interpret various technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Ability to perform mathematical equations when applicable.
Experience with WebRezPro PMS (WRP) understanding preferred.
Excellent time management, scheduling, managerial, and organizational skills required.
HOURS
Generally, about 45 hours a week.
Normal hours would be 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, but it would depend on how you manage your team.

Competitive salary ($65,000 - $70,000 per year)
