Position: Appraisal and Assessment Representative (Commercial Appraiser)
Responsibilities - What you’ll do
Responsibilities: Completing appraisals of real property parcels that are selected for inclusion in the commercial property assessment ratio studies in assigned counties. Work activities include measuring and listing of structural components; collecting, inspecting and analyzing sales, rental and cost data; gathering data for making economic and cost studies; applying the three traditional value approaches; using market data processing skills in drafting, costing, market analysis, and other software used in the appraisal process.
Qualifications - All you need for success
Requirements: Must have a valid Missouri driver’s license; be willing to travel throughout the state, including overnight travel; possess good organizational and self-motivational skills; be familiar with the use of computers; have high speed internet access from a home office setting; and be capable of making independent decisions. Use of personal vehicle for state business use is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 24 earned credit hours in one or acombination of the following: Agricultural, Land Surveying, Drafting,Engineering, Architecture, Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or Statistics.
Experience in real estate, appraisal and/or prior experience in the assessment fieldmay be substituted for bachelor’s degree requirements.
Missouri Certified Real Estate Appraiser, General Certification.

Location: Statewide, but may travel throughout the state.
Salary: $50,000 - $62,058, annually.
