Asset Management Consultant Full-Time | On-Site | Baltimore, MarylandLocation: Baltimore, MDEmployment Type: Full-Time, On‑SiteReports To: Executive Leadership / Program ManagerPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Asset Management Consultant to lead and manage asset management projects for civil infrastructure clients. This role will serve as a key technical and managerial leader responsible for delivering asset management projects and programs, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and interfacing directly with public agency clients.The position is full-time and on-site in Baltimore, Maryland, and is ideal for a professional with strong asset management, engineering, and technology experience.Key ResponsibilitiesLead asset management tasks for public-sector clientsPerform asset management tasks, studies, and implementationsCoordinate internal technical teams, subconsultants, and client stakeholdersPerform development ofAsset inventories and condition assessmentsLifecycle cost analysesRisk-based and performance-based asset management plansCapital investment prioritization frameworksData analysis and visualizationTechnical reportsManage scope, schedule, budget, and deliverables across multiple concurrent projectsSupport proposal development, contract negotiations, and technical presentationsEnsure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations and industry standardsParticipate in client meetings, workshops, and executive briefingsProvide high quality products and technical reportsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil/Architectural Engineering or a closely related engineering fieldMinimum 8–12 years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure asset managementDemonstrated experience performing and/or leading asset management projects, preferably for transportation agencies and/or utility owners such as municipalities.Strong understanding of:Transportation Asset Management Plan (TAMP)Lifecycle Management PlanningRisk managementPerformance-based decision-makingData analysis and data visualizationProven leadership, excellent communication, and business acumenAbility to work full-time on-site in Baltimore, MDExperience in performing best practices researchExperience in writing technical reports and articlesExperience in preparing and delivering technical presentationsPreferred Certifications (one or more strongly preferred)Master’s degree or PhD in civil/architectural engineering or a related field.IAM Certificate / Diploma in Asset Management (Institute of Asset Management)ISO 55001 Asset Management Certification or trainingCMAM – Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional or equivalentAICP, CFM, or related infrastructure certificationsPE – Professional Engineer (Maryland or ability to obtain)PMP® – Project Management ProfessionalPreferred ExperienceExperience with State agencies and local jurisdictions, or similar public agenciesFamiliarity with asset management systems (AMS), GIS, CMMS, or enterprise platforms such as Maximo and/or CityworksExperience supporting on-call / open-end and stand-alone engineering contractsKnowledge of AASHTO asset management guidance and best practicesCompensation and BenefitsExpected Hourly Salary: $45-$75Arya offers excellent potential for career advancement and professional growth.
