(approx. 10-15 per day)  Perform oral care and hygiene assistance.  Wash and style resident hair as appropriate.  Assist residents with shaving and grooming needs.  Provide routine nail care in accordance with facility policy.  Assist residents with dressing and personal appearance.  Strip beds and replace with clean linens as needed.  Observe resident skin condition during care and report any concerns, redness, bruising, tears, or other abnormalities to nursing staff immediately.  Record completion of baths/showers per facility documentation requirements.  Dining Assistance Assist with dining room setup and resident support during meals.  Assist residents with feeding as needed.  Pass meal trays to residents.  Clinical Support Obtain and record weights and vital signs as assigned. Report changes in resident condition to licensed nursing staff promptly.  Environmental Duties Maintain shower rooms in a clean, organized, and stocked condition.  Ensure supplies are available and report low stock items to appropriate staff.  Follow infection control and safety procedures at all times.  What We’re Looking For High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) CNA certification required Ability to work with elderly and disabled residents in a compassionate and respectful manner.  Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents safely.  Strong communication and teamwork skills.  Commitment to confidentiality and HIPAA compliance Work Setting & Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and assist residents throughout the shift.  Ability to push/pull equipment and transport supplies.  Ability to perform repetitive movements associated with resident care. Works in resident care areas including resident rooms, shower rooms, and dining areas.  Exposure to cleaning products, bodily fluids, and infectious materials possible.  Must follow all facility infection control and safety guidelines.  Ready to make a difference close to home?  Weston County Health Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
