Job Position: 3rd shift Reach Forklift OperatorLocation: Terrell, TX 75160Pay Rate: $19.25/hrShift:SUNDAY-THURSDAY 9PM-5:30AM TRAINING MON-FRIDAY 8AM-4:30PMSummary:The Reach Rider Forklift Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating reach rider forklifts and other material handling equipment to load outbound shipments in a warehouse environment. The operator will work in temperature-controlled zones, including coolers and freezers, and must have experience working on the dock, using single jacks, and managing palletized freight. This role is critical to maintaining accuracy, safety, and speed in the loading process.Key Responsibilities:Operate reach rider forklift to load pallets onto trailers or move freight within dock areasHandle and stage pallets according to load sheets, shipping orders, or pick listsUse single jack (electric pallet jack) as needed for pallet positioningInspect forklifts and other equipment before use; report any issues or malfunctionsEnsure all products are loaded securely and according to safety and stacking standardsCommunicate with loaders, dock workers, and supervisors to coordinate outbound workflowVerify load accuracy and ensure damaged or missing products are reported immediatelyMaintain clean and organized loading docks and surrounding workspacesFollow all warehouse safety rules, equipment protocols, and PPE requirementsPerform additional duties as assigned by leadershipPhysical Requirements:Must be able to stand and walk for long periods (8 - 10 hours per shift)Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects up to 50 lbs. regularlyFrequent bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and climbing stairs or laddersVisual and manual dexterity required to operate equipment and verify documentationCapable of wearing PPE such as gloves, masks, and insulated clothing for cold environmentWork Environment:High-traffic warehouse and dock areas with exposure to forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machineryComfortable working in various environments, including cold storage (cooler: 34°F - 65°F, freezer: -10°F-0°F)Noise levels may vary depending on warehouse activity and machinerySchedule may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holiday shifts, depending on operational needsQualifications & Requirements:High school diploma or GED preferredMinimum 1 year of experience operating reach rider forklifts, dock loading, and single jacksAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyStrong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety
