Demand Planner

The Demand Planner will be responsible for creating and executing a statistical demand forecast for the intimates Wholesale and DTC operations, inclusive of Mainline and Mass accounts with extra focus on digital. They will be responsible for analyzing product performance at the customer level, including shipment data, POS, inventory, and promotional activity to develop customer specific forecasts, aligning with cross-functional partners in Retail Planning, Inventory Planning, and Sales. This will contribute to successful customer fill rates and efficient inventory management, ensuring that our consumers can find our products on the channels they want to shop on. Responsibilities:Create overall demand forecasts for the intimates categories by account, achieving key metrics and KPIs to support the division’s financial goalsManage and leverage the SAP IBP forecasting system and collaboration processes as essential resources to create and review statistical forecasts; Gather, analyze, and validate data at the SKU levelEnsure forecasting objectives are achieved, review potential risks/opportunities between the demand plan and financial plan; Collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate and reduce inventory riskReview forecasted sales versus actual sales and overall budget; recommend adjustments for re-forecastingLead collaboration meetings with Sales and Retail Planning teams within the division to align on account projections, variances to forecast, upcoming promotions, or changes in business needsSupport new product launch activity through the development of needed forecasts for initial inventory as well as forecast scenarios for replenishmentBuild out buys at the SKU level for our owned DTC business, ensuring that we will have enough inventory in the right styles, colors, and sizes to meet our DTC needs Review demand forecast with Inventory Management team to assess any upcoming production needs, and problem solve minimum order and flow challenges proactivelyContribute to Seasonal SKU rationalization efforts with retail planning, sales, design and production to ensure discipline for needed SKU maintenance (Grow / Maintain / Decline)Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed including long range planning to help achieve corporate goalsParticipate in special projects for continuous improvement for the Demand Planning processQualifications:BA or BS3+ years of experience in Demand Planning and ForecastingStrong quantitative background (demand planning, supply planning, inventory management)Advanced technical skills, specifically with Microsoft Excel (macros, v-lookups, pivot tables, complex formulas) and in dealing with large data sets Amazon and/or DTC experience preferredSAP/IBP, JDA or similar forecasting software knowledge/experience is preferredAbility to multitask, have a high sense of urgency, and adapt to change in priorities as needed Strong teamwork and collaboration with cross-functional teamsStrong communication skills and problem-solving skillsAnnual salary range starting at $80,000+The disclosed salary range is commensurate with experience and does not reflect the total compensation package.
