Production Operators perform a variety of functions. In this role, selected individuals could be responsible for preforming a variety of jobs in battery assembly. The production operator is responsible for operating the standard procedures of lithium-ion battery production with manufacturing equipment.Additional Responsibilities IncludeConducting quality checksEngaging in basic troubleshooting and equipment maintenance throughout the production processCollecting qualifying products and package for shipmentMonitoring and interacting with computerized manufacturing equipment to produce batteries and check equipment regularly to ensure normal operating activityChecking all work orders, instructions, and specifications on the production check sheet before starting every production lot.Basic QualificationsTo be considered, you must be willing and able to do the following with or without reasonable accommodation:Meet all hourly requirements of the position.High School Diploma or GED Support for multi-shift and alternative work schedules, including weekends and overtime as required.Work in hot and cold environmentsWear all safety equipment including safety glasses, sleeve protectors, Earplugs, and steel-toed shoes.Stand or walk for long periods of time each day.Frequently bend, stoop, reach, and lift up to 40 pounds.Work in tight or closed spacesIdentify any irregularities which are not compliant to work instructions and control plan regarding work environment, production process, raw materials, and the quality of semi-finished products.Inspect the equipment according to the ‘equipment features inspection guide.’Work in a team environment and effectively communicate throughout organization.Ensure strict compliance with quality and safety regulations and standards.LOCATIONKokomo, INREQ NUMBER24-097SALARY$19.90+ per hourSalary within the posted range is commensurate with experience and qualifications.BENEFITSOur benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, short and long-term disability, PTO, 401K with company match, and tuition reimbursement.
