Network Engineer

Position details: Amazon Web Services (AWS) is currently looking for a “ ID-Deploy Tech IV, ID-Deploy (Level 4) Location is Canton, MS” to join our team on a full-time basis. JOB DETAILS : BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - High school or equivalent diploma - 2+ year or experience in any of the following or similar technical or vocational roles: Computer Hardware Repair, Infrastructure Cabling, Network Deployment, Data Center Operations, Technical Project Management PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Data center experience Industry standard certifications (CompTIA, CCENT, Network+,) - Knowledge of network cabling, optic types, and test equipment - Experience with common tools related to network troubleshooting, including VFLs, OTDR and power meters - Understanding of infrastructure technologies, including Routers, Switches, Load Balancers and Firewalls - Knowledge of major Command Line Protocols (Cisco IOS, JunOS, GNU/Linux) and common Networking Protocols (BGP, OSPF) Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Monday to Friday Ability to Commute: Canton, MS (Preferred) Ability to Relocate: Canton, MS: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
