Program Manager / Project ManagerDallas TXContractKey ResponsibilitiesProgram & Delivery ManagementLead end-to-end cloud migration programs (data centers, applications, and workloads)Manage scope, schedule, budget, dependencies, risks, and issues across multiple workstreamsImplement migration frameworks (factory model, wave-based migration, cutover planning) Migration Planning & ExecutionCoordinate assessment, application rationalization, and migration strategy (Rehost, Replatform, Refactor, Retire, Retain)Manage warm, cold, and pilot-light migrations with minimal downtimeOversee cutover, DR validation, and post-migration stabilization Stakeholder & Governance ManagementAct as primary interface with customers, engineering teams, cloud SMEs, vendors, and leadershipDrive steering committee meetings, executive reporting, and cadence callsEnsure change management, communication plans, and escalation processes are effective Technical Coordination (PM with strong cloud understanding)Work closely with cloud architects, network, security, VMWare, app, and data teamsTrack dependencies across identity, networking, landing zones, security, and complianceEnsure readiness for operations handover and BAU transition Risk, Compliance & QualityIdentify and mitigate migration risks, blockers, and performance bottlenecksEnsure compliance with security, regulatory, and organizational standardsMaintain RAID logs, migration runbooks, and documentation Required Skills & ExperienceProject ManagementProven experience managing large-scale cloud migration or data center exit programsStrong experience with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery modelsExpertise in RAID, financial tracking, governance, and executive reporting Cloud & TechnologyHands-on exposure to AWS and/or Azure cloud migration programsFamiliarity with:Cloud landing zonesNetwork & security architectureVMware → AWS/Azure migrationMigration tools (AWS MGN/DMS, Azure Migrate, CloudEndure, HCX, etc.) Tools & MethodologiesProject tools: MS Project, Jira, Confluence, SmartsheetStrong understanding of migration factories, wave planning, and sprint-based execution Communication & LeadershipExcellent stakeholder management and leadership communication skillsAbility to manage cross-functional and geographically distributed teamsStrong client-facing and executive presentation capability Preferred QualificationsPMP / PRINCE2 / SAFe / Scrum Master certificationAWS or Azure certification (Associate or Professional)Experience working with BFS, Healthcare, Insurance, or regulated industriesExperience with FinOps or cloud cost governance is a plus Key Success MetricsMigration delivered on-time, on-budget, and within risk thresholdsZero or minimal business disruption during cutoversCustomer satisfaction and leadership confidenceSmooth transition to operations post-migration
