Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/13/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - PCU Job Details: - Work as part of the Resource Float Pool team floating between two campuses - Float to various Adult Health units including Observation (2 units), Med Surg (4 units), PCU and IMC (total 11 units) - May occasionally float to ED or PACU to take Adult Health patients with inpatient orders - Varied work schedule with flexible assignments - Level I Trauma and large hospital experience required - Minimum one year experience in acute care hospital setting required - Must have worked in acute care setting within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse - Current, valid RN license in state of practice required - BLS certification required - Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care of patients - Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision - Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members - Document assessment findings and patient responses in medical records - Participate in patient and family education - Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and respond quickly to patient care needs - Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred Facility: This healthcare organization operates two campuses providing comprehensive medical services including a Level I Trauma center with 625 beds and a Level IV Trauma facility with 245 beds.
