System Engineer

*\*\**_*Requires active TS/SCI with Polygraph*_*\*\** *Job Description* Integrity Intelligence, Inc. is seeking a full-time System Engineer to join our team in Chantilly, VA. *Work Requirements* * Conduct Windows Service High Availability (HA) solution support and optimization to include Microsoft Server optimization and load balancing. * Standardize engineering practices, including system updates, patches, and backups. * Review current infrastructure, cloud transformation and plans, data, application and security environments to help plan remediation, upgrade, cloud migration deployment or solution implementation. * Conduct and document Proof of Concepts, Design Reviews, and Cloud Success Planning. * Support software deployment, patch management, operating system deployment, inventory, and reporting. * Create accreditation artifacts. * Document Accreditation and Authorization (A&A) activities. * Submit A&A packages. * Produce and maintain systems security plans to include CONOPS and SOPs. * Communicate IT requirements between management and technical entities. * Work closely with the Sponsor to gather requirements and advise on infrastructure design, development and deployment of Cloud resources * Design, test and deploy Linux operating system baselines for AWS resources. * Design, test and implement log aggregation in support of Cloud and AWS systems. * Design, test, and implement search and visualization infrastructure in support of AWS systems. * Work with vendors to develop and deploy Cloud based solutions to the learning environment in AWS. * Liaison between the Sponsor and Vendor Contacts to troubleshoot AWS when deploying new resources. * Recommend new technologies for use in the cloud environment (AWS). *Required Skills and Demonstrated Experience* * Managing Windows based servers. * Windows Server 2012/2016; Windows system scripting technologies (JavaScript, Visual Basic Scripting). * Linux, Mac OSX, Apple IOS; Microsoft server/workstation technologies including Active Directory, Group Policy. * Implementing and integrating AWS solutions. * Gathering requirements from vendor contacts and customers. * Linux in the AWS environment. * Scripting and web programming technologies such as PHP, PERL, Java, Jscript or PowerShell. * Deploying third party software products. * Software Configuration Management (SCCM). * Desktop and network hardware. *Highly Desired Skills And Demonstrated Experience* * Mac-based devices. * Government security governance procedures. * Collaborating with the Sponsor’s security managers. * Government systems and network accreditation process (A&A). * Management, IIS, Hyper-V, RIS, software deployment; Network protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and Standard. *Integrity Intelligence, Inc.
