Senior Product Manager
About Comp AIMost companies still do compliance by hand: manual evidence collection, copy-pasted policies, audit prep that pulls engineers off the roadmap. Comp AI rebuilds the stack with AI agents that handle the busywork. We're an AI-native compliance and security platform. We launched in April 2025 and crossed millions in ARR with a lean team in under a year. Our AI agents do the work humans hate: collecting evidence, drafting and maintaining policies, mapping controls, prepping for audits, and continuously monitoring posture against SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR, and the frameworks our customers need next.Compliance is the wedge, not the ceiling. We're building toward continuous, AI-driven cybersecurity that's always on, always learning, and gets stronger the longer a customer uses it. The vision is much bigger than the category we entered. We move fast, hold a high bar, and treat every customer interaction and product surface as part of the experience. The team is small enough that each person's work shows up directly in revenue and pace.About the RoleWe're hiring a Senior Product Manager to own a major area of the platform. You'll spend real time with customers and prospects, build a sharp view of what's broken, and ship product that moves usage, retention, and ARR. You'll set direction, write the specs, hold the metrics, and stay close enough to the work to course-correct in real time. Engineering and design will move faster because you're there.Decisions happen in conversation, not committees. You'll work directly with founders. The roadmap you set will define a meaningful slice of the company's next year.Compliance is where we started because the pain is most acute today. The role is bigger than that. You'll help shape what continuous AI-driven cybersecurity looks like, and what we ship to get there. What You'll DoSet direction• Own the roadmap for a major area of the platform. The exact surface will depend on the business and your strengths.• Make hard prioritization calls and explain them clearly to the team, the company, and customers.• Build the discovery, prioritization, and launch systems the product org will run on for years.Stay close to the market• Talk to customers and prospects every week. Get past stated requests to real pain: what's slow, what's broken, what they're patching with spreadsheets and headcount.• Sit in on sales calls, churn conversations, and lost-deal debriefs. Treat lost deals and missed expansions as product signals.• Define the metrics that matter for your area and hold the team to them.Ship and partner• Write specs and decision docs sharp enough that engineering and design can make good calls without you in the room.• Partner with engineering and design from shaping through launch and iteration.• Work with GTM, sales, and marketing to launch new capabilities, train the team, and turn product into pipeline.• Ship in days and weeks. Iterate on what customers actually do.You May Be a Good Fit If You Have• 5+ years in product management, with shipping experience at an AI-native, infrastructure, devtools, security, or B2B SaaS company.• Shipped product that customers paid for and loved. You can talk specifically about decisions you made, what happened, and what you learned, including the ones that didn't work.• Strong technical instincts. You can read code, debate API design, and have substantive conversations about tradeoffs without faking it.• Deep discovery instincts. You'd rather spend an afternoon on a customer call than in an internal meeting, and you ask the questions that surface real pain, not feature requests.• Sharp writing. Specs, decision docs, customer-facing copy, all clean enough to ship without heavy edits.• A real point of view. You take stances on what to build and why, and change your mind when the evidence demands it.Strong Candidates May Also Have• Background in compliance, security, audit tooling, or AI agent products.• Experience selling or building into regulated industries (fintech, healthcare, public sector).• Time at an early-stage startup or as a founder, where scope was wide and you wore many hats.• Experience building for technical buyers (security teams, engineering leaders, CTOs).How We Work• You think like an owner. The product is yours; outcomes are yours.• You'd rather ship something imperfect this week than something polished next quarter, and then iterate hard.• You hold strong opinions and update them quickly when the data says otherwise.• You're scrappy enough to dig through support tickets to find the next problem, and strategic enough to know which one bet could define the quarter. What This Role Is Not• Not a people-management role. You'll partner closely with senior engineers, designers, and GTM, but you won't manage a team day-to-day. If leading people right away is the goal, this isn't the right fit.• Not a research role. We ship to customers in weeks. If you want to spend a quarter on discovery before writing a spec, this isn't it.• Not narrowly scoped. You'll own a major surface, but you'll also touch GTM, support, brand, and pricing. If you want a tightly defined product mandate inside a larger org, this isn't it.• Not hands-off. Strategy and execution are the same job here. You'll write the spec, run the customer call, and review the PR in the same week. Why Comp AIA few things you won't get elsewhere:• Real ownership at scale. Your roadmap moves the company's numbers, not a sub-team's OKRs.• Direct access to founders. Decisions happen in conversation. You'll be in the room.• AI-native from day zero. We were built around agents, not retrofitted with them.• A category in motion. Compliance is becoming continuous cybersecurity. You'll help define what that means in product. If you want to ship product that customers feel immediately, in a market that's moving fast, with a team that's small enough that your work shows up directly in growth, this is it.Compensation and Logistics• Base + equity: $150K - $210K base, plus meaningful equity.• Location: Strongly preferred in-person at our Miami HQ. We'll consider remote for exceptional candidates, and we help with relocation if you want to move.• Visa sponsorship: We don't sponsor visas at this time.Perks• Above-market base and equity that actually matters at this stage.• Unlimited PTO on top of US federal holidays. We trust you to plan around team commitments, give ample notice, and take what you need.• Quarterly team offsites somewhere worth flying to.• A team you'll learn from every week.
