Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in New York, NY, for an Estimator/Assistant Project Manager (APM) specializing in Metal & Glass. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates, analyzing project requirements, coordinating with clients and vendors, and assisting in managing projects from inception to completion. This role also involves reviewing and interpreting construction documents, tracking project timelines, and ensuring quality and budget compliance through effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders. Qualifications Proficiency in estimating and budgeting, including the ability to analyze project documents and create accurate cost assessmentsProject management experience, with skills in scheduling, timeline tracking, and coordinating with multiple stakeholdersTechnical knowledge of architectural metal and glass materials, products, and construction methodsExcellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilitiesProficiency in industry-specific software (e.g., AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or equivalent)Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentBachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field is preferredFamiliarity with New York City building codes and regulations is a plusPrevious experience in the metal and glass construction industry is strongly desirable
