Sr. Collaboration Engineer
Overview:
In this role you will operate and evolve the enterprise collaboration stack to enable a productive, AI-driven workplace. You'll partner across functions to reduce friction, scale automated workflows, and support a global workforce with 24x5 coverage. You'll drive AI-enabled features and governance for secure, reliable collaboration. This is a hands-on role at a rapidly paced, high-impact company focused on improving how teams work together. Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the enterprise collaboration stack (Google Workspace, Slack Enterprise Grid, and integrations)
- Drive platform migration initiatives (tenant migrations, Google Workspace optimizations, file-sharing governance)
- Build scalable end-to-end automations for high-volume admin tasks and user lifecycles (Python, PowerShell, Google Apps Script, GAM, Admin SDKs)
- Establish governance for AI/ML technologies and automation services
- Develop and deploy new AI-driven products aligned with the roadmap
- Create processes focused on end-to-end automation and AI/ML optimization
- Implement shift-left automation to empower Tier 1/2 support
- Lead design and deployment of integrations with enterprise AI platforms (Sana Labs, Glean, Slack AI)
- Serve as escalation point for complex L3/L4 issues and incident management
- Monitor system health, uptime, MTTR, and performance to ensure a seamless user experience
- Coordinate global operations across time zones for continuous 24x5 support
- Collaborate with IT security and audits to ensure compliance
- Resolve complex issues using technical expertise and creative thinking
Key requirements:
- 8+ years of hands-on IT engineering, platform administration, or enterprise systems engineering
- Hands-on experience with integrating enterprise AI tools and SaaS products with collaboration stacks
- Deep admin expertise across Google Workspace, Slack Enterprise Grid, and Microsoft 365 / MS Teams
- Proficiency in automating workflows using Python, PowerShell, Google Apps Script, REST APIs, GAM, and Admin SDKsExperience as an escalation point for L3/L4 issues and incident management (ServiceNow or Jira)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field
- Global coordination skills across time zones for 24x5 coverage
- Strong communication to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
