Remote Paralegal (Insurance Defense)

Location: Remote position for a national mid-size law firm Position Type: Full-timeExperience Required: 10+ years in Insurance Defense and timekeeping Compensation: Competitive, based on experience + benefitsWe are seeking a highly skilled seasoned Insurance Defense Paralegal with the necessary experience looking to bring their expertise to a dynamic and supportive legal team. We’re looking for a paralegal who is a self-starter that can hit the ground running, manage complex caseloads, and contribute meaningfully to the team. Our Insurance Defense Paralegals play a pivotal role in supporting attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, from inception to trial. You’ll be handling a high-volume caseload, drafting key legal documents, managing discovery, and coordinating with clients and experts. You will be responsible for: drafting pleadings, discovery requests/responses, subpoenas, and legal correspondencesummarizing medical records, discovery responses, depositions, and expert reports.assist in case preparation for mediations, hearings, and trialscoordinate and management document productionscommunicate with clients, experts, and other law firmsPlease apply only if you have the following:minimum of 10 years of paralegal experience in insurance defense litigationprior experience with billable hour requirements in a law firm setting and managing and recording billable hoursstrong knowledge of rules of civil procedure and litigation supportproficiency in case management software, Microsoft Office, and Adobe excellent writing, communication, critical thinking, problem solving, and organizational skillsability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environmentparalegal certificate or equivalent experienceWe’re a well-established law firm with a collaborative, diverse, and respectful culture.
