The role you'll contribute:
Provide patient care in the office setting, meeting the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care.
The value you'll bring to the team:
Provide patient care in the office setting.
Provide care that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care.
Provide care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and/or Physician.
Maintain regulatory requirements, nursing and office policies, procedures and standards.
Ability to assist nursing and medical staff with routine examinations and patient treatments. This includes neonate, pediatric, adolescent and geriatric patients and the general patient population.
Perform all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications:
High School graduate or equivalent
Basic Life Support Current American Heart Association within 90 Days
Certified Medical Assistant through one of the following:
National Healthcare Association (NHA) OR
American Medical Technologists (AMT) OR
American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) OR
National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) OR
National Associate of Health Professionals (NAHP)
Preferred qualifications:
Completion of venipuncture class
1 year medical office experience
