Job Full DescriptionCNC Lathe Operator1st Shift | $18 p/hWe are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Operator to run our extra-large, heavy-duty lathes for precision machining of industrial components. This hands-on role requires strong technical skills and the ability to handle machines of substantial size. CNC Lathe Operator Duties:Set up and program CNC lathes from blueprints Operate extra-large capacity CNC lathes (cannot be intimidated by machine size) Edit and optimize lathe programs for maximum efficiency Calculate tolerances and dimensions within precise specifications Measure parts accurately using inspection tools like dial calipers Troubleshoot programs and make offsets as needed Perform machine maintenance and adjustmentsRequirements:Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Operator, preferably on large lathes Proficiency in CNC lathe programming Strong math skills and foundation in geometry/trigonometry Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T Experience with production machining and tight tolerances Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Willingness to work any shift (rotating shifts) Springfield, OH 3158 2200 North Limestone Street Suite 116 Springfield, OH 45503
