The role will support legal initiatives across construction, financing, and commercial transactions.Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive legal counsel on operations, regulatory matters, and corporate transactions.Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements related to finance, procurement, and project development.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.Advise senior leadership on risk mitigation, corporate governance, and strategic legal planning.Manage legal aspects of permitting and operational expansion.Coordinate with external counsel and regulatory agencies on complex legal issues.Conduct legal research and anticipate industry trends impacting company operations.Must-Have Skills:Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar membership.Experience in the energy, natural resources, or industrial materials industry.5+ years of experience in contract negotiation and transactional law.Strong track record supporting corporate governance.Ability to manage multiple complex legal projects concurrently.Nice-to-Have Skills:Familiarity with sustainable development.Prior experience in an early-stage, fast-growing company.
