IT Service Delivery Specialist - Manufacturing industry Experience Required

///W2 Contract Onsite Position in Liberty NC///An International IT Service and Solutions prover serving the automotive industry is seeking a results-driven IT Service Delivery Specialist to oversee the IT operations of manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing enterprise-scale applications, supporting daily operations, and maintaining strong relationships with both business and technology stakeholders. Responsibilities:Oversee and continuously improve Incident, Request, Problem, Change, and Release processes; track and maintain performance metrics such as MTTR, first-time fix rate, backlog health, and change success rate. Act as the primary IT liaison for plant operations on MOM/Opcenter, ensuring service priorities align with production schedules and business SLAs/OLAs. Plan, coordinate, and implement configuration updates, patches, and releases for MOM/Opcenter and related integrations. Lead major incident response, including command coordination, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and executive-level communication; ensure lessons learned are embedded into future practices. Partner with application vendors and internal engineering teams to gather requirements, validate solutions, and deliver secure, compliant deployments. Translate technical architecture and change impacts into clear, business-focused explanations for non-technical stakeholders. Develop and maintain a reporting framework (weekly operations, monthly service reviews) covering incidents, root-cause trends, system availability, capacity, change/release performance, user satisfaction, and cost-to-serve. Deliver concise, business-relevant updates to plant leadership and executives, ensuring visibility into risks, remediation strategies, and realized value. Other assigned duties. Requirements:Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field.5+ years of IT support or operations experience in a manufacturing environmentBe able to work in Liberty NC location. Local Candidates are preferred.Experience with MOM/MES applications (e.g., Siemens Opcenter) and related integrations. Familiarity with incident/change/problem management processes. Hands-on experience with system patches, configurations, or release planningGood reporting/documentation skills (Microsoft Office, ticketing tools like ServiceNow). Japanese Language skills is plus.While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift 10-25 pounds if needed.
