As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Traveling Maintenance Technician to support facility operations across multiple Texas regions.Position Overview:The Maintenance Technician is responsible for resolving facility-related issues submitted through the company's ticketing system by store employees and District Managers. This is a travel-based position that requires strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to planning and prioritizing trips based on urgency and overall workload.This role does not include direct washer or dryer repairs. Instead, the technician focuses on maintaining the facility and its supporting systems, while coordinating with external contractors for larger-scale or specialized repair needs.Compensation & Benefits:Base Salary: $40,000 annuallyPerformance Incentives: Up to $5,000 annuallyMileage reimbursementPhone allowance providedCompany credit card for travel expensesPaid time off and holidaysMedical, dental, and vision benefits availableGrowth opportunities with a rapidly expanding companySchedule:• Full-time, travel required across Texas regions• Typically Monday–Friday, with occasional emergency or weekend callsIf you are a motivated technician with strong problem-solving skills and enjoy hands-on work while traveling across Texas, apply today to join the SpinXpress team!Responsibilities:Monitor and respond to facility maintenance tickets submitted by laundromat employees and District ManagersPlan and schedule trips across assigned regions using the ticketing system to organize workloadHandle urgent issues (e.g., pipe bursts, leaks, or electrical concerns) by responding directly or coordinating outside contractors (plumbers, electricians, etc.)Perform general facility maintenance, including: Plumbing repairs (water lines, drain lines, valves, fittings), basic electrical work (lighting, switches, outlets), painting and drywall repair, broken tile replacement and other cosmetic facility repairsTroubleshoot minor building-related issues independently and escalate larger repairs to outside contractorsKeep accurate records of all completed maintenance in the ticketing systemCommunicate with employees and managers to confirm repairs are completed and follow up on pending issuesEnsure all work is performed safely and meets company standardsQualifications:Experience in facilities maintenance, plumbing, electrical, or related trade strongly preferredHands-on skills in plumbing, electrical, painting, and general building repair requiredStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work independently, manage travel, and prioritize multiple service requestsValid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle requiredMust provide and maintain a basic tool set (company will purchase specialty tools as needed, subject to approval)About Company:Here at SpinXpress - San Antonio, our Mission is to deliver a fun environment and experience while at work, keeping our focus on providing an Excellent Customer Service Experience within our facilities and in our communities –Clean, Bright, and Safe – A Better Laundry, That's The SpinXpress Way!
