Operations Manager - One Colorado

That's the real meaning of studio-to-street: taking the consciousness from practice on the mat and putting it into practice in life.OVERVIEWThe Operations Manager is a member of the store leadership team who deals with ALO's operational strategy in the store. This individual is passionate about inventory management, labor planning and scheduling - all with a lens on driving an efficient and effective store operation. This role's north star is pointed at ensuring that the store is customer-ready at all times. Duties require constant movement in and around the store, including the sales floor and back of house. When not actively assisting guests, this position takes initiative to perform other tasks, as needed, to keep store clean, safe, inviting and operating efficiently.Operations LeaderOversee and support execution of key operational processesInvestigate and root cause inventory accuracy issues, partnering with the Manager to escalate process or system gapsChampion strong Operational standards for the salesfloor by leveraging business performance dataSupport sell-through management by ensuring accuracy of inventory counts and coordinates labor hours to efficiently receive product deliveriesSupport a safe work environment and efficient operationBusiness LeaderRepresent the business in meetings and on conference calls, in partnership with General ManagerReview, Monitor and partner with General Manager to manage the budget, reporting and other business data; including metrics (e.g. Expenses, Sell-Thru) and inform planning processes (e.g., quarterly business review and sales planning)Future planning workflow business needs to protect optimal performancePeople LeaderEnsure that the Operations team exudes ALO's mission and guiding principles to effectively communicate to our guests who we are, what we do and why we do what we doLeads a team through accountability, continuous coaching, development of talent, and elevating effective communication throughout the Operations teamEstablish internal & external pipeline through succession planning and recruitment strategyWrites an effective schedule that prioritizes the best business strategy, in partnership with the General Manager/Store ManagerFlow Experience LeaderOversees the execution of Flow experience deliverables while protecting operational efficiencyCollaborate and implement General/Store Manager's vision and works cross-functionally with business partners, as directed, to support organizational goals and to achieve inventory and sales floor KPI'sDemonstrate an ability to navigate the organization with a balance of business need and brand cultureOperations Manager Qualifications3-5 years of retail or related industry leadership experienceWorking knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)Extraordinary interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and writtenAgile with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a changing environmentIndependent work ethic, time management skills, and personal accountabilityAligns with and embodies ALO's Guiding PrinciplesRequires constant movement in and around all areas of storeAbility to lift, push, carry or otherwise move up to 50 poundsAbility to lift, bend, kneel, climb, crawl and/or twist, and safely climb up/down a ladderAbility to stand and move for an entire shiftOperations Manager ScheduleTo build a balanced schedule that supports the needs of the business and our teams, we expect all full-time employees to have open availability and are expected to work variable shifts including peak days and weekends. Please also note, Assistant Store Managers are eligible to participate in the Company's Monthly Store Incentive bonus program, which may result in bringing the total compensation to a higher range. Further, the range listed is just one component of the Company's total rewards package for retail employees.
