Key ResponsibilitiesRecord and categorize financial transactions, including those related to production costs and inventory. Manage accounts payable, processing invoices for raw materials, equipment, and services. Process accounts receivable, including invoicing customers for manufactured goods and tracking payments. Perform bank and credit card reconciliations regularly and accurately. Process payroll for all employees, including factory and administrative staff. Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures and financial reporting. Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation. Recommended QualificationsProven experience in full-cycle bookkeeping, ideally within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, ERP) and advanced Microsoft Excel. Solid understanding of cost accounting principles, inventory valuation, and COGS. Expertise in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing. Ability to perform bank reconciliations and assist with month-end close procedures. Bonus QualificationsExperience with ERP systems commonly used in manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite). Familiarity with basic cost accounting principles (e.g., inventory valuation, job costing). Understanding of inventory management processes in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in fixed asset tracking and depreciation relevant to machinery and equipment.
