The perfusionist will play a critical role in supporting cardiac surgeries by operating extracorporeal circulation equipment, ensuring optimal patient outcomes during complex procedures. This position offers consistent case volume, a collaborative environment with a large perfusion team, and exposure to advanced cardiovascular procedures. Key Responsibilities: Operate heart-lung machines and related equipment during cardiac surgeries Monitor and manage extracorporeal circulation and patient physiology Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff Ensure proper setup, calibration, and maintenance of perfusion equipment Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC charting system Follow all safety protocols and clinical standards Participate in scheduled shifts (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM) Occasionally work Saturdays as per department needs Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience as a Perfusionist Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) certification (mandatory) BLS certification (AHA) required Strong experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) settings Ability to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced surgical environment Excellent teamwork and communication skills Experience with EPIC charting preferred
