Come, stay, and grow with us.What Drives SuccessWe are seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead the strategy and lifecycle management of Lennox's Controls portfolio, including smart thermostats, zoning systems, and control platforms.This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for shaping the future of how homeowners, dealers, and technicians interact with Lennox equipment. The role will drive product strategy across both hardware controls and the connected customer experience, ensuring Lennox products deliver differentiated value across the homeowner app, technician service tools, and connected ecosystem.The ideal candidate combines deep product leadership, strong technical fluency, and strategic thinking to create solutions that enhance system performance, simplify dealer workflows, and expand the value of Lennox's connected installed base.Key Responsibilities Own Product Vision & Strategy: Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for Lennox's thermostat, controls, and zoning product lines, ensuring alignment with Lennox's broader connected home and system platform strategy.Drive MGPP: Develop multi-year product plans that balance innovation, reliability, cost competitiveness, and system integration.Enable Connected Services & Customer Experience: Lead the Controls ecosystem experience by shaping how control products interact within the broader Lennox ecosystemCross-Functional Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams in product ideation, development, and launch, influencing stakeholders across engineering, marketing, sales, and operations to achieve aligned goals. Data-Driven Insights & Analytics: Utilize data and market insights to identify customer needs, anticipate market trends, and make informed decisions, continually refining the customer experience. New Product Initiatives (NPI): Oversee the entire NPI lifecycle for products, collaborating closely with R&D, sales, and customer service to ensure successful rollouts. Competitive Analysis & Market Understanding: Continuously evaluate competitive offerings, emerging technologies, and market trends across controls, connected home, and HVAC ecosystems.Product Performance Optimization: Monitor product performance across revenue, margin, adoption, and customer experience metrics. Identify opportunities to optimize pricing, improve attach rates, manage lifecycle transitions, and strengthen the overall portfolio mixCustomer & Dealer Insight: Engage regularly with dealers, technicians, and homeowners to understand real-world product usage and pain points. Translate these insights into product improvements and feature enhancements that improve the Lennox system experience.What We Are Looking ForBachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience; MBA or similar advanced degree preferred. 10+ years of relevant experience in product management, ideally within connected devices, HVAC systems, IoT products, or consumer electronics.Proven success leading complex hardware products that interact with software platforms or connected ecosystems.Strong understanding of system-level product strategy, where hardware, software, and services combine to deliver value.Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence decisions across engineering, marketing, and commercial organizations.Strategic thinker capable of translating market insights and customer needs into differentiated product roadmaps.Strong analytical, financial, and communication skills with the ability to present clear recommendations to leadership.What We OfferCompensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $135,200 - $177,450 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company's applicable plan.
