Field Sales Representative – Healthcare (Kaiser Accounts)

Location: Bay Area or Greater Los Angeles, CAScope: California, Kaiser-focused territoryReports to: Director of Strategic AccountsLucas James Talent Partners is partnering with Phothera, a Madison Medical company within Madison Industries, on a direct hire opportunity for a Strategic Accounts Specialist.This is an early-career, field-based healthcare sales role supporting Phothera's most important customer, Kaiser. It is best suited for candidates with strong sales fundamentals who are looking to build a long-term career in healthcare and strategic accounts.This is not a traditional strategic or senior account role. While aligned to key accounts, this position is focused on execution in the field, provider engagement, and driving utilization on a day-to-day basis.About PhotheraPhothera is part of Madison Medical, the healthcare and life sciences platform of Madison Industries, a global organization focused on building and scaling market-leading businesses.Phothera is advancing phototherapy to improve outcomes for patients with chronic skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, and vitiligo. Their solutions provide a safe, effective, and cost-efficient alternative to traditional therapies, enabling patients to receive treatment in the comfort of their own home.As the organization continues to grow, Phothera is investing in expanding access and utilization across key strategic accounts, including Kaiser.The OpportunityThis role is designed to support and expand utilization within Kaiser, Phothera's most critical account.The Strategic Accounts Specialist will operate in a highly field-based capacity, spending the majority of time in territory supporting provider engagement, education, and account execution. This includes consistent in-person activity, presentations, and relationship building across Kaiser locations.This is a strong opportunity for someone early in their career to gain exposure to a major national account while developing core sales and territory management skills.This role requires residency in or relocation to either the Bay Area or Greater Los Angeles market.Territory OverviewThis role will be based in either the Bay Area or Greater Los Angeles marketThe Bay Area represents the largest concentration of opportunity (~34% of total volume)Los Angeles and surrounding areas represent another significant portion of the territoryCoverage is focused on high-volume Kaiser locations within these regionsCentral California is not a primary focus and is covered by adjacent territoriesThis role will focus primarily on Kaiser, Phothera's most important account.Compensation & BenefitsSalary Range: $85,000 to $100,000 base salary, flexible based on experience and locationIncentive: Quarterly commissionAdditional offerings include:Mileage reimbursementTravel expense coverageStandard healthcare and benefits packageKey ResponsibilitiesField Execution & Territory ManagementManage a defined territory with a focus on consistent, in-person activityConduct provider visits, presentations, and lunch and learnsMaintain strong visibility and engagement across Kaiser locationsAccount Support & PerformanceSupport utilization and growth within assigned accountsTrack activity, performance metrics, and identify opportunitiesAssist in monitoring account performance and engagement trendsCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Strategic Accounts leadershipSupport initiatives to increase adoption of phototherapy solutionsRelationship ManagementBuild relationships with providers and healthcare stakeholdersProvide product education and respond to inquiriesSurface feedback, trends, and opportunities to the broader teamThe ProfileWe are seeking a professional who is:Early Career, High Potential1 to 3 years of experience in sales, healthcare, or a structured training environmentField-Oriented and Execution-FocusedComfortable with daily in-person activity, managing a territory, and maintaining consistent follow-throughStrong CommunicatorConfident presenting to providers and leading small group sessions such as lunch and learnsOrganized and Self-DirectedAble to prioritize effectively, manage multiple responsibilities, and operate independentlyMotivated and Growth-OrientedInterested in building a long-term career in healthcare sales and strategic accountsQualifications1 to 3 years of experience in sales, healthcare, or a related fieldExperience in a structured sales training environment (Enterprise, Cintas, Paychex, ADP, or similar) is strongly preferredStrong communication and presentation skillsAbility to manage a territory and prioritize effectivelyHealthcare, medical device, or payer exposure is a plus but not requiredWhat Success Looks LikeSuccess in this role will be defined by consistent execution in the field, strong provider engagement, and the ability to drive utilization within Kaiser accounts.The Strategic Accounts Specialist will play a key role in supporting Phothera's growth within its most important customer while building a strong foundation for advancement within the organization.
