IT Specialist (TS/SCI FSP)

Pennant Solutions Group has several openings in the Ft. Meade, MD area requiring a TS/SCI FSP. Must Have: TS/SCI FSP IT experience of similar scope required. Security+ CE or equivalent Day to days: Observes, troubleshoots, and assesses hardware, software, and other network-related issues, providing technical expertise for optimizing performance and configurations of networks and systems. Collaborates with users and sites to address network or system incidents efficiently. Holds responsibility for overseeing, tracking, and assessing Information Technology Infrastructure incidents on a global scale. Primary Responsibilities: Offers assistance for implementing, troubleshooting, and upholding Information Technology (IT) systems. Oversees the infrastructure of IT systems and associated processes. Extends support to IT systems encompassing day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem-solving for client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, and more. Handles Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) tasks, including problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution. Facilitates the escalation process and communicates status updates to agency management and internal clients. Manages dispatch system and hardware issues, remaining engaged in the resolution procedures. Configures and administers UNIX and Windows operating systems, conducts installation and troubleshooting of operating system software, ensures integrity, configures network components, and implements enhancements to boost reliability and performance.
