As the ADON for Internal Medicine Surgery, you are the backbone of the surgical service line. You will transition from bedside care to high-level strategy and mentorship:
Clinical Leadership:Oversee daily operations for Internal Medicine Surgery, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and surgical excellence.
Team Development:Act as a mentor and educator, supervising staff and fostering a culture of professional growth and accountability.
Operational Excellence:Manage departmental workflows, resources, and staffing to optimize patient outcomes in a busy, mission-driven environment.
Strategic Collaboration:Partner with the Director of Nursing to implement best practices and maintain 100% regulatory compliance.Requirements:

Licensure:Must hold an active New York State RN License.
Education & Experience (Two Pathways):
Path A:Master’s Degree in Nursing + 5 years of nursing experience (including 3 years in a supervisory or teaching role).
Path B:Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing + 6 years of nursing experience (including 4 years in a supervisory or teaching role).
