Engineer-in-Training (EIT) – Structural Engineering (Solar/PV)
Right Angle Engineering is seeking a motivated Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to join our in-office engineering team. We provide structural engineering and design services for solar (PV) projects nationwide. This is a great opportunity for an EIT who wants hands-on experience and long-term growth in structural engineering.
Job Type
Full-time (In Office)
Schedule
Monday to Friday
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Responsibilities
Assist with structural review and engineering support for solar PV projects
Review and update structural load calculations (wind/snow/dead/live loads)
Support engineers with project execution from start to finish
Provide solutions for projects with structural concerns or limitations
Perform calculations, engineering markups, and redlines for CAD teams
Communicate with internal team members to ensure quality and accuracy
Other engineering tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related engineering discipline)
Ability to work in the United States
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills and ability to work on a team
Preferred
EIT certification (or ability to obtain shortly after hire)
AutoCAD and Excel proficiency
Structural or solar experience (not required)

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $40.00 per hour
