Facilities Engineer (cGMP – Pharmaceutical)Greater Boston, MA areaSummary:AM Technical Solutions is seeking a proven Facilities professional to work with a pharmaceutical client of ours in the Greater Boston, MA area. This individual will be responsible for supporting the maintenance, calibration, planning, and troubleshooting relevant to utilities, cleanroom, laboratory, and manufacturing areas.Responsibilities:• Responsible for supporting various aspects of facilities’ maintenance requirements including but not limited to utilities, facilities controls, HVAC, energy savings, and electrical infrastructure.• Assist in day-to-day running of the facility and projects related to planning and implementing the facility infrastructure and utility systems.• Track spare parts inventory within Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).• Manage external vendors and subcontractors in execution of responsibilities and contract requirements.• Troubleshoot any issues with the plant utility systems.• Support ongoing reliability and continuous improvement plans and initiatives.• Review and approve relevant engineering documents related to projects.Qualifications:• Degree in engineering or a science related discipline preferred or equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.• Minimum 2+ years of pharmaceutical industry or related experience is required.• Previous knowledge using computerized maintenance (CMMS) and SAP systems.• Must have experience in maintenance projects and service vendor management.• Proven experience in coordination of complicated maintenance tasks.• Familiar understanding of industry standards for commissioning, validation, and operation of facilities and utilities for cGMP manufacturing and GXP laboratories.
