Project ManagerKansas City, MO | Fully OnsiteFull-Time | Direct Hire | $75-85,000 annually LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a client who is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong construction or hardscapes background to oversee multiple projects from concept through completion. This role is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating all phases of hardscape construction projects while ensuring work is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is highly organized, hands-on, and comfortable managing crews, subcontractors, vendors, and client relationships simultaneously.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage multiple hardscape construction projects from pre-construction through closeout Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines Coordinate daily activities for field crews, foremen, and subcontractors Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and high satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle Monitor project budgets, job costs, and change orders to ensure financial targets are met Conduct site visits to ensure work is progressing according to plans, specifications, and safety standards Procure materials and coordinate deliveries to align with project schedules Identify and mitigate project risks, delays, or scope changes Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and company safety policies Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and closeout materialsQUALIFICATIONS: At least 3-5+ years of project management experience in construction, hardscapes, landscaping construction, or related trades Proven experience overseeing multiple projects simultaneously from start to finish Strong working knowledge of construction scheduling, budgeting, and job cost tracking Experience coordinating in-house crews and external subcontractors Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and site layouts Excellent communication and client-facing skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with project management tools, scheduling software, or construction management systems
