Technical Service Representative

For our client, we are seeking a Technical Service Representative to join the team of a leader in the Food & Beverages space.This role will support customers by providing technical expertise for packaging equipment and related materials in a fast-paced food packaging environment. The position will partner closely with customer teams and internal technical, quality, and production stakeholders to improve equipment performance, resolve issues, and support successful trials and installations. This is a hands-on field-facing role focused on service quality, operational reliability, and customer satisfaction.Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship availableCompensation: $135,325+ annuallyResponsibilities Provide timely technical assistance to customers regarding packaging equipment operations Perform service and maintenance on customer equipment to optimize performance Conduct audits on packaging machines and identify operational issues Lead field trials for new packaging materials Assist with the installation and start-up of packaging equipment Train customers and peers on equipment operation and maintenance Communicate machinery issues to relevant staff for resolutionQualifications Bachelor's degree in Packaging or a related Engineering field, such as Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering 5 years of experience in engineering or technical service in food packaging Experience with a variety of packaging equipment, including VFFS, HFFS, rotary systems, and more 5 years of experience resolving technical issues with packaging film production technologies Knowledge of film construction and formulation Experience collaborating with Process Engineering, Quality, and Production teamsBenefits Medical, dental, and vision plans Flexible time off starting at 80 hours per year Company-paid holidays and employee wellbeing programs Health Savings Account/Flexible Spending Account options Life insurance and disability coverage Paid Parental Leave and tuition reimbursement Retirement Savings Plan with company match Discretionary annual bonus programOur client is an equal opportunity employer.
