General Labor

Essential Job Functions of General Labor position: $27.31/hour, shift may vary, shift differentials * Perform machine operator functions to include feeding materials into and operating semi-automatic equipment * Perform palletizer operator functions to include operation of semi-automatic equipment to stack finished product on pallets * Various clean-up tasks, part sorting, and filling in for operators when needed * Train to become a certified Forklift Driver, Palletizer, and Packaging Operator * Read blueprints and drawings, handbook specifications, equipment manuals, part lists, etc. * Perform all other duties as assigned by management Job Requirements: * Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, use decimals and fractions * Good English speaking and writing skills * Experience using computers, copiers, calculators, scanners, and printers Experience/Education: * High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Requirements: * Previous experience in a manufacturing environment Physical Requirements: * Ability to kneel, stoop, crawl, squat, and stand for extended periods while running machinery up to 12 hours * Ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 poundsLIMITATIONS AND DISCLAIMER The above job description is meant to describe the general nature and level of work being performed; it is not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required for the position.
