Job Description What Makes PCBC Day School a Great Place to WorkCollaborative and supportive leadership teamStrong culture of professional development and instructional excellenceEstablished curriculum programs including Learning Without Tears, Heggerty, and Hands-On-Bible CurriculumA warm, mission-driven school community focused on whole-child developmentOpportunity to mentor teachers and influence instructional quality across the schoolKey Responsibilities | Curriculum LeadershipLead the implementation and refinement of the school's curriculum across all classrooms (infants through Pre-K).Support fidelity of established programs including Learning Without Tears, Heggerty Phonemic Awareness, and Bible curriculum.Ensure classroom instruction aligns with developmentally appropriate practices and early childhood learning standards.Collaborate with leadership to evaluate curriculum effectiveness and implement improvements.Teacher Support & Instructional CoachingProvide coaching and mentoring to teachers in lesson planning, classroom management, and instructional strategies.Effective early childhood teaching practices and developmentally appropriate activities.Support teachers in creating engaging learning environments that support social, emotional, and academic growth.Encourage reflective teaching practices and professional growth.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related fieldExperience teaching in an early childhood classroomStrong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practiceAbility to mentor and support teachersStrong organizational and communication skillsPreferredMaster's degree in early childhood education, Curriculum & Instruction, or related fieldExperience in instructional coaching, curriculum leadership, or program administrationExperience with early literacy programs and preschool curriculum developmentFamiliarity with Texas licensing requirements and professional development systems such as TECPDSPersonal QualitiesPassion for excellence in Christian early childhood educationStrong leadership and mentorship abilitiesCollaborative and team-oriented mindsetOrganized, thoughtful, and solution-focusedCommitment to nurturing children's spiritual and academic developmentFaith-Based MissionPCBC Day School is a ministry of Park Cities Baptist Church.
