This is a quota-carrying role focused on closing 250k+ engagements that include system assessment, integration, construction, commissioning, and lifecycle support. This position is services-led and field-automation-first. The successful candidate will own mid-market operator accounts from initial engagement through close and expansion, working collaboratively with executive leadership, engineering, and delivery teams.Location preference: Greater Permian Basin (Texas / New Mexico). Houston will be considered for the right candidate.Functions and Responsibilities:Own and grow key upstream and midstream accountsClose complex, multi-stakeholder automation and services engagementsCoordinate with engineering and delivery teams to ensure scope and expectations remain alignedProfessionally challenge the status quo and bring insight-led recommendationsAlign field automation initiatives with broader SCADA strategiesOperate in a collaborative, team-based selling modelRequired Qualifications/Experience:5-8+ years selling field automation or integration services into oil and gas operatorsProven success closing large, services-led dealsFamiliarity with industrial field automation and its connection to SCADA systemsStrong executive presence and ability to engage technical and operational stakeholdersWillingness to travel within the Permian regionIf you are motivated by helping operators modernize critical infrastructure through practical, phased automation, we would like to connect.Education:Preferred BA in Marketing, Business, or Communication.Appropriate work experience consideredNon-Limitation Clause:This job description is not intended to be a complete or limiting description of the functions that the employee may reasonably be requested to undertake.Employment at GLX Technologies:GLX Technologies provides a drug-free workplace, and the company will require you to participate in its drug testing program.
