Job TypePart-timeDescriptionThe Farmers Daughter Restaurant at Normandy Farm Hotel & Conference Center is seeking a qualified individual who is interested in working in an upscale hospitality environment. An exemplary work ethic, meticulous attention to detail and a passion for providing superior customer service are necessary for all applicants. This is a part-time position with a PM shift from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Applicants must be available to work a minimum of 3-4 shifts per week. JOB SUMMARYLine Cook would be responsible for preparing food in our Farmers Daughter a La Carte kitchen which includes, but is not limited to Grilling, Frying, Sautéing and preparing hot hors d oeuvres. We are looking for candidates that are organized, responsible, have a positive demeanor, and are team players.Attends and participates in all training sessions and team meetingsDevelops and maintains positive working relationships with others while listening and responding in an appropriate mannerPrepares all items required for line and special function purposesCarefully follows standard house recipes when preparing foodServes items in accordance with established portions and presentation standardsAlways maintains a clean and organized workstationProperly stores all food products in appropriate storage areasFollow instructions and adhere to all procedures and company policies while maintaining a high standard of conductNotifies and reports any problems or concerns to managementConsistently uses safe and sanitary food handling practicesCleans and locks up according to prescribed proceduresFollow instructions and adhere to all procedures and company policies while maintaining a high standard of conductNotifies and reports any problems or concerns to managementReports to Sous ChefRequirementsMust be at least 18 years oldHigh School Diploma or Equivalent A minimum of two years of previous experience grilling, sautéing and frying Must speak English Must be able to clearly communicate with managers and staffMust be authorized to work in the United StatesMust have your own reliable transportation to get to and from work.Salary DescriptionStarting at $18.00 Per hour
