Construction Project Manager - Aviation

We are seeking a Construction Project Manager to support aviation and airport infrastructure projects. This role leads field execution from pre-construction through commissioning and closeout, ensuring excellence in safety, quality, schedule, and cost performance.Projects may include airport terminals, airside/landside infrastructure, runway and taxiway improvements, utility systems, and support facilities.Key ResponsibilitiesLead day-to-day construction execution for aviation and airport infrastructure projectsDrive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with OSHA and company HSE standardsManage project controls including scheduling, cost forecasting, and earned value trackingCoordinate closely with engineering, procurement, and field teams to ensure seamless EPC deliveryDevelop and manage project plans, budgets, schedules, and key performance metricsOversee subcontractor procurement, bid packages, contract negotiations, and change ordersAdminister contract processes including RFIs, submittals, change management, and closeoutEnsure compliance with FAA, local authority, and airport operational requirementsCoordinate with airport stakeholders, tenants, and regulatory agencies to minimize operational disruptionsMonitor construction progress and provide reporting to senior leadership and clientsSupport commissioning, startup, and project turnover processesOversee QA/QC programs and ensure adherence to project specifications and standardsManage materials, logistics, and site mobilization/demobilization activitiesLead project closeout, documentation, and warranty administrationMentor junior staff and field personnel; support team development and performance managementQualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)7+ years of construction project management experience, preferably in aviation or large infrastructure projectsExperience delivering projects in active airport environments strongly preferredStrong knowledge of EPC project delivery, construction management, and project controlsProficiency with scheduling and cost control tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project)Familiarity with FAA regulations and airport authority coordination is a plusExcellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skillsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-visibility environmentWorking knowledge of project financials and basic accounting principles (GAAP)Willingness to travel up to 100% based on project needs
