Systems Engineer (8-12 yrs)

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you’ll lead mission-critical efforts across the full lifecycle of space systems — from concept to orbit and beyond. You bring the experience. We bring bold ideas. Together, we make missions happen.ResponsibilitiesLead the planning, design, and development of system requirements for space missionsEvaluate, test, and integrate mission concepts into functional operationsDefine mission goals, validate against system performance, and lead cross-functional teams to achieve those goalsWork directly with customers to guide mission development from early design through launch and validationOwn interface definition and management — developing and maintaining Interface Control Documents (ICDs)Develop test plans, guide execution, and ensure test results are well-documented and actionableLead key system reviews — SRR, PDR, CDR — and contribute technical leadership to subsystem design (Comm, GNC, ADCS, Propulsion, FDIR, EPS, etc.)Support mission ops through coordination, anomaly resolution, and forward-thinking ops planningDrive early-phase space system studies for new and upcoming missionsProactively identify and manage risks across program phasesNavigate and support space system regulatory processes (orbital debris assessments, spectrum licensing, etc.Coordinate across a wide range of technical talent, from astrodynamics to systems and navigation engineersSupport the creation of compelling, technically rigorous proposals for future missionsRequired Skills & QualificationsB.S./M.S./PhD in Aerospace Engineering or similar, with emphasis on Systems Engineering8-12 years of hands-on experience in mission implementation (flight + ground systems), with deep space experience preferredDeep systems-level expertise with a proactive, problem-solving mindsetModel-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience with tools like CameoFamiliarity with NASA’s Systems Engineering Handbook and DoD space programsExperience in spacecraft communications systems, mission design, and navigation across Earth, Cislunar, and Deep SpaceProgramming proficiency (Python preferred)Experience with space mission AIT (Assembly, Integration & Test)Thrives in environments with evolving technical needs — adaptable, dependable, and decisiveStrong communicator and leader — able to mentor, delegate, and drive team successYou’re customer-focused, technically sharp, and always looking aheadEligibility RequirementsThis is an IMMEDIATE hiring need.
