Temporary Onsite Human Resources CoordinatorOur Confidential Escondido-based client is seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused Temporary Human Resources Coordinator (HRC) to support our HR team during a critical period.This is a great opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys jumping in, making an immediate impact, and keeping operations running smoothly. In this role, you'll serve as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries while supporting key functions such as recruiting, onboarding, employee records, and payroll coordination.You'll work closely with our leadership team to ensure continuity, accuracy, and a positive employee experience.What You'll DoCore ResponsibilitiesServe as the first point of contact for HR-related questions from employees and external partnersSupport recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate sourcing, and interview coordinationReview applications and assist in evaluating candidate qualificationsConduct reference checks and assist with employment offers and agreementsCoordinate and support new hire onboarding and orientation processesMaintain accurate employee records in HR systems and physical filesAssist with employee terminations and related documentationSupport benefits administration, including enrollments and updatesMaintain internal databases such as time-off tracking and employee recordsPartner with Payroll by providing updates on employee status, pay changes, and leave informationAdditional ResponsibilitiesPrepare reports and documentation related to HR activitiesSupport company events and help foster a positive employee experienceParticipate in special HR projects and process improvementsAct as a company ambassador and culture championMaintain high levels of accuracy, timeliness, and confidentialityIdentify opportunities to improve HR processes and systemsProvide backup support when the HR Supervisor is unavailableAttend departmental meetings and contribute to team initiativesWhat You BringMinimum QualificationsHigher Education is preferred4+ years of HR experience preferredBilingual in English and Spanish preferredPHR, SHRM, or similar certification preferredExperience in the construction industry HR is a plusStrong knowledge of California employment lawsSkills & StrengthsHighly organized with strong attention to detailAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive informationProficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and HRIS systemsFamiliarity with Sage accounting system preferredStrong written and verbal communication skillsComfortable working independently and as part of a teamPositive, proactive, and professional mindsetStrong problem-solving skills and sound judgmentAbility to prioritize tasks and meet deadlinesAssignment DetailsTemporary, full-time positionLocation: Onsite, Escondido, CA officeDuration: TBDStart Date: ASAP!Rate: $27-29/hr W2
